Faith O’G. has been invited to sing the National Anthem several times for both her summer and High School swim meets. Anyone who has ever tried it knows that this can be a difficult song to sing, especially in front of a large crowd of your peers. Congratulations! You are doing a GREAT job!
June 3rd, 2018 – Tina M. sang for the congregation at Southminster Presbyterian Church. Her beautiful performance of “The Painter’s Hand” by Sally DeFord added to the worship experience. Thank you for sharing your musical gift with the people of Southminster.
June 15th, 2018 – Valerie P. preformed as Miss Prism in the UPS for DownS: Constellation Project’s production of The Importance of Being Ernest. She did a wonderful job in learning all her lines and being a star!
June 24th, 2018 – Julie B. was asked to sing a solo for the service at First United Methodist Church in Arlington Heights. She sang a moving rendition of Carman’s “I will serve Him”, and did a wonderful job communicating through song.
July 13th, 2018 – Lia F. and Kaitlyn K. performed in the Elk Grove Park District production of Annie, Jr. Lia sang the role of Lilly and Kaitlyn as the Star-to-be. You both looked and sounded wonderful on stage! It’s so exciting to watch you both grow as performers!
July 12th, 2018 – Emma L. performed as Silky Spider in the Buffalo Grove Park District production of James and the Giant Peach. You looked so comfortable on the stage and you sounded amazing! We can’t wait to see how far you go!
August 4th, 2018 – Josephine C. performed as Adriana in the Schaumburg On Stage (SOS) production of the Little Mermaid. You really stood out with polish and power, especially when you hit your high note in the singing competition. Way to go!
August 10th, 2018 – Noelle J., performed as the Emperor (Empress) in Elk Grove Park District’s production of Mulan, Jr. You’ve grown a lot as a performer this year, and it shows! Keep up the great work!
Meilyn W. travelled to Scotland to participate with performers from around the world in a flash mob down the Royal Mile at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We hope you had a smashing time!
