Fall 2019 Shout Outs!

Logan F. Performed as the Comfort Counselor, Mitch Mahoney, as well as Olive’s Dad in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with the Fox Valley Theater Company. Then, he went straight into preparing the role of Prince Dauntless in Once Upon a Mattress with Conant High School. You’ve had a busy year, but it’s not over yet! Next up is Newsies  with Schaumburg on Stage as both Jack and Pulitzer!

Meilyn W. performed multiple roles in the ensemble for Matilda with Glenbrook North High School. The cast did so well they have been asked to The Illinois Theatre Fest this Spring! Congratulations!

Josephine C. lit up the stage (even more than the twinkling Christmas lights) as Deb in Elk Grove High School’s production of Elf.

Emma L. had a great time “singing loud for all to hear” in the ensemble for Elf, Jr with the Buffalo Grove Park District.

Faith R. received many compliments following her performance of “Cock-eyed Optimist” from South Pacific in a Cabaret at Warren Township High School.

Junie and Barry came to their lessons spreading Halloween joy this year in costume.  It was so wonderful to have Barry riding his dinosaur and Junie dancing around as a green fairy.

Ken K. entertained audiences with his comical presentation of the novelty Christmas favorite, “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer” with the Village Singers at their Holiday Spectacular.

Nicole R. wowed the audience with her performance of “Batti, batti, o bel Masetto” from Mozart’s Don Giovanni and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Pie Jesu” in the winter choir concert at Wauconda High School.

As always, we’d like to say that our students participate in so many diverse activities that we couldn’t possibly keep track of them all. We’re very proud of each and every one of you for all if the interesting things you do at school and in your communities. You may not realize the happiness it can bring to others to see you share your gifts and talents. We hope you all continue to share as much as you can share as often as you can share it! Thank you for sharing your talents with us each week!!!
